A4 vs A3 printing
A4 is the default for documents and thesis copies. A3 is for posters, charts and large tables. Match the PDF page size to the size you order on Printvity.
A4 (210 × 297 mm)
The default for office documents, resumes, thesis insides, notes and most books in this shop. If you are unsure, prepare the PDF as A4.
A5 (148 × 210 mm)
Half of A4. Common for flyers, compact notes and some thesis rules. Do not order A5 if the PDF is A4 unless you accept smaller type.
A3 (297 × 420 mm)
Twice A4. Use for posters, large tables, CAD-style diagrams and classroom charts. The PDF must be A3 (or designed at that size) or the print will look stretched or have large empty margins.
Visiting cards are not A4
Business cards use a card trim, not an ISO office size. Use the visiting cards product rather than scaling an A4 letterhead down.
